I received this as a birthday gift from Avon and was very happy to discover how lovely "Rare Gold" eau de parfum is.
I have ordered more for myself and also for a friend who said she loved the fragrance.
I used to decide each day which perfume to wear but now find this is the one I go for - it is truly a quality perfume.

this is thee only edu i have ever used since it started, i also use the rare gold body spray alng with the shower gel both of which we cant buy anymore, i think that avon should start doing rare gold body sray and shower gel again, i would not use anything else if they did, i have tried different but simmilar but nothing that smells as good as rare gold.!!

first off Im a girl who would give Far Away 100 stars, so if you hate Far Away you prob wouldn't have the same taste ..right, back to rare Gold, Fragrance opens very strongly on the citrus note top note, orange very evident, on the dry-down, it changes to a more gentle wave as the citrus acid evaporates so you are left with middle notes of powdery Lilly of the valley the remaining scent that will take you through the day (bottom notes) is amber, woody, musky, but the fruit completely evaporates. so dont be but off with the first PHEWWW LOL key to avon sprays is to let it settle for 30 mins then decide

I have been buying this perfume for many years now and my husband and friends alike love it and are always telling me how good I smell.
I would recommend any woman to try this fragrance as it is such a bargain for the beautiful smell you get to have.

I can see why people like this perfume, but because of how strong it is and how it smells I think it is only appropriate for an older woman. I bought it for my Nan's birthday this week and she loves it, but she said she prefers the Rare Pearls one because it's subtler.

I adore this scent so much!
It's sultry, yet fresh and sooooooooo sophisticated (this coming from a designer perfume devotee).

Rare Gold is a favourite everyday perfume of mine.
The amazing thing about it is, that I have been asked, on several occasions, what perfume I am wearing.
I was even asked one day if I was wearing a particular brand of very expensive French Perfume!
No one can believe it is one of Avon's products, but it does get then reaching for the Avon catalogue!!
