I love these pearls and have bought several tubs over the years but I do have to be careful how I apply them. If I have a bit of a base tan already they're fine and add an extra warmth and hint of shimmer which looks lovely across cheekbones, collarbones and the tops of your shoulders.
If we're coming out of winter and I'm a bit on the pale side though, it's a definite case of remember the 'use sparingly' rule otherwise you get the orangey look which isn't so flattering.
Use a *really* big brush to pick up the powder and give it a good tap or two first to avoid the first sweep leaving a stripe and you're set to stay golden!
Great quality, however I am a brunette and they made me look orange; so that is why I gave a 4 not a 5. So just be sure of your skin tone or that you have a tan. I have now gone for the Illuminating pearls and they are fab!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. It doesn't look orange and is perfect for me as I am mixed race and pink or red blushes look silly and so not natural on my skin. I think this would be fine for white people too, just as long as you aren't really fair, or it might look as weird as pink blush looks on me.

I got these last year for christmas, and they only lasted me about a month because there wasnt many balls and the colour didnt really show up, and I dont have naturally red cheeks. Not worht the money.
Bought to use on hols and still using now i am back! I use a bit make up brush to sweep it all over my face and even though i have been back for nearly 2 months now i am still getting people asking me if i have just got back from holiday. They really do give you a great colour without making it look false. They also look like they are going to last a long time.
I have been using these bronzing pearls for the last few years and I find where my skin is quite mature I use this product to highlight my face without looking like I have' big rosy cheeks' as they blend in very well with my own natural skin tones
I really like these bronzing pearls, the colour is just right - not orangey or brown but gives a nice warmth and glow. Not too shimmery, they are more more matte with a tiny bit of shimmer to give the glow. Also the pot is very long-lasting. A good buy!

I have used this product for years and still think it's the best out there! You have to get used to applying differently dependent on the age of the product; minimal when new to avoid looking tango'd, but gradually building up as it gets older. Love it!
They do create a healthy bronzed glow, better than other bronzing pearls that I have tried. I thought there would be more pearls than there was in the tub but nevertheless a good product.
i absolutely love these bronzing pearls. i had been reluctant to buy a bronzer i had only seen in the brochure, as many can be too orange for my liking however the colour is true to print, and leaves a very natural, non-orange glow. the packaging is big enough to contain the pearls when swishing with a kabuki brush. when travelling the sponge keeps the pearls from getting damaged-perfect if you carry make up in your handbag, although i haven't found the need to top-up throughout the day as the powder stays on well. a good purchase, and i'll definitely buy again.

This is amazing as my skin is quit greasy lots of make up don t stay threw the day but this is amazing it stay all day just one application in the morning. This is very good and make you look healthy. 10/10 for me!
I am always a bit scared of bronzer because I have very pale skin and don't want to look like I've been tangoed! This is PERFECT as you can build the colour up from a light touch to full-on beach goddess without it ever going orange. It has a really natural finish - not too glittery or metallic as some bronzers I've tried are - and it looks great applied with a large brush on the temples, cheeks and bridge of the nose just to warm the skintone. Brilliant!
I bought this after seeing the reviews. I must say I agree with most of the reviews- it definately doesn't leave you orange. I wear it over the am moisturiser when I am going to the gym and it does give me a glow. However it is very light, I doubt I would recommend it to anyone who loves having a deep tan look but it is great for a day look. I also wear it to work over my foundation and it does give me a healthy looking glow. I think this is a must for summer,, especially during the day for those who want a natural warm look with a bit of tan. I don't really use pearls so this was a bit of getting used to, I probably should have went for the compact powder, nearly sure AVON does it in this version also. The packaging is great, no pearls would fall out due to the screw lid. You can't go wrong with the price.
Looks good for either shading or adding glow, subtle and not sparkly or orange looking. Only downside is that being pearls, I do find that they find their way into the bristles of the brush, then drop everwhere, so they do need a little extra care when applying. I'm a bit of a slapdash person and am always having to pick the little pearls up off the floor! Sometimes I use the sponge in the pot which I'm sure is just meant to protect the product but actually works ok when applying in a hurry. Pot doesn't seem very full, but I think they will last well as you only pick up a little colour each time. Also, any fuller and they'd spill! Will buy again.

i have been using these bronzing pearls for a couple of years now and they are the best i have ever used they dont make u like you have been tangoed they give you a healthy glow and add a bit of colour i use mine with a dusting brush only use lightly other wise it wiill come out orange
I though I would try this when it was on sale as I usually only wear blush and thought I would try something different. I was a little apprehensive as I didn't want to look orange. I'm glad that I tried it because it gives me a healthy looking glow instead of the usual pale look I have. I usually apply it lightly with the sponge supplied with it then blend in with a brush so that it isn't too overpowering.
It is perfect for any skin type - even those with pale skin - as it gives your skin a lovely, healthy and sunkissed glow.
I've had so many compliments from people who think I've been on holiday or used some tanning product and they are genuinely surprised when I tell them it's down to Avon's bronzing pearls!
It's so easy to apply and doesn't go blotchy or cakey like foundation can. It will last all day, so you don't need to worry about re-applying at lunchtime again. Also, because it gives a natural, golden tone, you don't need to worry about resembling an uumpa lumpa.
I use Avon's 'Illuminating Pearls' alongside this bronzer and it is an amazing combination!
