This lipstick is a bit more sheer than the regular Avon lipsticks. It's not an intense apricot/coral pink, it's more like a wash of colour. The formula is very smooth and creamy and this lipstick is not at all drying. I knocked one star off though because as usual Avon swatches are a bit misleading - the swatch makes it look like a normal solid pink shade. This lipstick actually has a slight bluey-purple shimmer to it, so the lipstick is pink but with a blue duo-chrome. It does look a bit odd since the warm pink has a cool toned shimmer when the light hits it but I still quite like it, it's unusual. If you're looking for a normal coral creme then this isn't for you, but if you like something a bit different then I'd give this a go.
I bought 'nude & infused' and was initially a little put off because in the tube it looks rather coppery for a nude shade. However it went on like a dream to give a lovely sheen of colour and although still a little brighter than my other favourite Avon nude shades, it's still very 'every day wearable.'
As a bonus, it's also incredibly moisturising. After applying it, my lips felt as nourished and soft as if I'd used a top-quality lip conditioner and continued my feel this way for a long time afterwards - what a treat!
