Bought in Bronze and Sapphire Blue. I will be buying in other colours
At first use I didn't think much of this product, but I think once you get used to the texture (as other gel liners I have used are a bit thicker whereas this is a really smooth texture, so it may just be me that had that problem on the first use and then realized how to use it better) it's a really nice product and great for most looks, especially smokey looks. But even more neutral looks it is perfect for.
The product is really really nice, the purple colour is so gorgeous and I have been finding a way to work it into most of my make up looks since I purchased it. The black is also very nice, not too harsh. The colours last all day and glide on easily with the right brush. The product seems like it will be long lasting so when it eventually does run out I will be buying more for sure!

Would describe this more as a creme eyeshadow more than an eyeliner. Isn't exactly black, and doesn't come out very well, and isn't very thick.
When you first start using it the colour does not show up much but more and more you use it the better it is. Get plenty on your brush as well, use the Avon eyeliner brush for best results.
Pigments are too light and difficult to achieve a desirable result Have used better pencil versions. And although this is cheaper than some other brands but not worth the effort.
I've read some reviews and I'm surprised people have found this hard to get on with but I would definitely recommend buying the brush with the eyeliner. The brush certainly makes it easier to apply and since it's synthetic you should find that the liner glides rather than soakes into the brush. I won't lie, it took a few goes to get it right and I would recommend that you watch the Pixiwoo videos to get the technique right. Once you do though the liner is great, I loved the pencils too but found they ground down to nothing after being sharpened as the centre is so soft!

i've tried eyeliners before and the ones i have tried dragged across my eyelids or came out to thick so when i saw this one i was a bit wary but after buying and trying it i love this eyeliner !! it does take a bit of applying but it doesn't drag across your eyelid and it's easy to wipe off
The gel looks good and colours are great. I found it difficult to apply as it took a few applications before I could see some colour on my eye line. A little disappointing as it doesn't seem to be long lasting and wears off quite quickly.
I bought this because i had heard that the super shock eyeliners were fantastc. The eyeliners as pencils are but this is rubbish. It has faint glitter in it which dosent make the product come out black enough for my liking. and no matter what brush i use it just dosent work!

I used to use Avons gel liner which is still good, but this is great. I was a little worried at first as it uses a brush, but it is really great and doesnt smudge. I put it on in the morning, go to work, play golf, go to the gym and it still looks as good at the end of the day as at the beginning.
I used pencil/kohl eyeliners for years but was never able to get an even and unbroken line as I find even the softer pencils drag a bit on the lid and sort of catch on the eyelashes, creating a "wiggle". I have since tried the pen type but even when they have a fine brush, I sometimes struggle to get an even line, or it all comes out too thick. Also, I find they don't last long. I have had very good results with this product, although I suspect that's mostly down to the Avon eyeliner brush I bought with it, as recommended. Achieving a bit of a flick at the outer corner is a piece of cake! I would definitely recommend it and would buy again.

I bought this, in flashy brown, along with the brush and I love it! The brush makes application easy and because it's angled you can add a thick or a thin line very easily. The colour of the eye liner is great and really adds that little something extra to your eye makeup. I liked it so much I also bought it for my friend at Christmas.
Wished it came in other colours too though - think green, purple and silver would be fab.
I bought this along with the brush that went with it, when i first tried it I was'nt expecting the gel to be quite so thick, after the first few uses I wasn't too sure about it, but once you get used to it its a great product. Colour lasts well, and with the angle on the brush you can get a really good line.

Overall a good purchase, easy to apply on eyes but it doesnt seem dark enough, had to put on a couple of more strokes than normal ink eyeliner.

The gel is too thick to 'wipe off excess gel' as suggested in the description. It's impossible to create a thin line along the upper eyelashes - which is why I bought the gel in the first place. To get enough colour you would have to really put it on with a trowel! I wish Avon would re-create a cake eyeliner that could be mixed with water - thus you would be able to have a line of whatever thickness and depth of colour you wish. They made one in the 1960's/70's which was a lovely blue colour and was a dream to use. Wish they would bring it back!
This product is nice but comes without an applicator/brush so you need to have a spare one. Personally I think it wouls be easier to apply with a fine pad or cotton bud type applicator as I seem to have a wobbly hand. If you don't mind that then go for it - it's long lasting.
