This is another 'old faithfull' I have used for a number of years and would not like to be without it. I have very fine hair and this gives it the boost needed.

I bought the anti-dandruff shampoo and got this root boosting tonic free. Smells lovely. I only use a few squirts on toweled-dry hair and only where it is needed. I don't find it greasy and I wash my hair every second or third day depending on the humidity. Also, I do not need to re-apply in between washing. I have recommended it to my hairdresser who has ordered it for herself. I hope that my experience counter-balances some of the negative ratings and encourages you to try the product out for yourself.

I liked the smell of the product as its similar to AT products. Im not sure if it provided volume for my hair, but It sure makes it feel like hairspray. A product you will need to wash out everyday if used everyday

i bought this item becuase it was part of a special deal along with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range (which i find are excellent). i find this does add volume but if you use too much it can leave hair a bit greasy, and you still need to give it a helping hand with a round brush or tipping your head upside down. it holds the volume in quite nicely though. however, it leaves hair looking quite greasy the next dya. fine for a night out but i don't use this every day. there are other items i've used which produce better results, and hair is still clean the day after. maybe this just doesn't suit my hair type. also, the smell is a bit strong. not a great product, but not bad

I am a mobile hairdresser and I am always trying to find a good volumising product. One of my clients had this product so I used it and I was amazed by the results. She had fine, soft hair and this product lifted the hair, wasn't sticky and was still soft to the touch. I came home and bought it immediately! Bargain, better than more expensive products i have used.

I chose this as I though it would be a replacement for the old volumising gel that Avo used to do but this left my hair feeling greasy and dry after blow drying.
Although there was a lot of bounce in my style when I come to use my straighteners it seems like my hair was frizzled and breaking off.

My hair is always in good condition but I would not recommend this to anyone.
Im returning mine as I bought two bottles :(
