the primer at the bottom is good for disguising dark circles around your eyes, the eye shadow colors are lovely and blend in well. do not over do the primer as it can sit in the creases of your eyes later on

This is the best eye make-up i've bought in years. Love the primer. Seems to smooth my eyelids out and create a really good base for the lovely soft, smooth power. It blends really well, stays put all day and is easy to remove at night. Would recommend to anyone. :O)

This is fantastic. I've never worn eye shadow during the day, as it kept coming off and made my eyes feel heavy, and only wore it for "special occasions". Thanks to the included primer, this one stays perfectly on all day long without any creases. Simply outstanding. Now every day is "special occasion" and I hate "taking my eyes off" at the end of the day as I would wear it all the time now if I could!

The first thing I noticed about this eyeshadow was how nice it went on, so easy to apply and blends wonderfully. I got Shimmering Walnut which is a fantastic colour, just what I was looking for. Quite subtle so I put lots on to make it a little darker. I find that later in the day i get a crease but with a glide of a finger its good as new! this could be because i put a lot on for the darker colour but its so easy to just glide your finger over if it happens its not a bother at all. I cant fault it as an eyeshaddow as its amazing but it does say eyes look tighter and more lifted and although i may be youngish (30) my eyes definitely need a lift and this product did not make any changes regarding that but as the eyeshaddow is so good I am more than happy with it anyway.

I was getting fed up with using eyeshadow since I'm becoming older, but this is the only eyeshadow I've enjoyed using for a while. It glides on smooth over the primer and is quite subtle. Not the kind to use if you want a dramatic look, but it gives a nice effect.

These eyeshadows really do stay put with the use of the primer. Suggestions: A separate primer would be useful; more colours please.

This has to be one of the best eyeshadows and primers I have ever used. Perfect for older eyes not to shiny or sparkly. The primer is just magic and gives an eye opening affect. I suffer very badly from allergies and have had no problem at all with this eye shadow. Some other, more expensive eye products make my eyes itchy and sore but not this one. If you like a smoky but natural eye this should be your choice. Just luv it!

I endorse what others have said about this product; it's great. The colour is good and it stays on. It's not obviously matt but it's also not glittery. I find the primer a little drying, despite using eye cream/gel, but not enough to put me off using the product.

It's the best eyemake-up primer I've use. Much better than the expensive ones that don't do as it says on the packet, this one does. Your eye-shadow stays on all day and doesn't crease. I have worn it, under my eye-shadow, from 8.00 in the morning until midnight and you would think I had just applied my eye make-up. As a senior citizen, I would highly recommend this for us ladies of latter years. Buy it today, you won't be sorry, I'm certainly not. Another excellent product from a company who know what it's doing. Keep up the good work. Thanks AVON.

This is absolutely brilliant. Does exactly what it says. Used it for the first time after reading previous reviews and would not go a day without. It is really long lasting and do not have to really reapply through the day. It is a must and it is a shame that Avon do not sell the primer on its own so that we could use it with other avon eyeshadows. It smooths out creases on the more mature skin. Love it. Thanks Avon

I love this, wore it for the first time recently and the eye shadow just glided on. It also gave my eyes a more wide awake appearance which is no doubt due to the primer. Bought it when on offer and am not disappointed, would buy again - well done Avon!

The primer glides on effortlessly and is light and non sticky. I use it even if I'm using a different Avon eyeshadow and all eyeshadows stay put all day long with this. Would buy for the primer alone!
The eyeshadows are also very good, go on easily and don't crease. They do however vary greatly in colour coverage. I find the green to be incredibly low colour regardless of how much I put on and so use this for daytime, subtle looks. The purple and walnut ones tend to be in the middle so can be day or night time depending on how much you use. The copper one is very high in colour and so is very bold and perhaps better suited to night time use. ALL are gorgous though.
The highlighter works well for me and opens up the eyes nicely.
All in all, my favourite eyeshadow ever. Just wish the green could give a bit more colour than it does.

This eyeshadow really is great for mature skin, the undercoat gives a smooth texture for the powder shadow to glide on. I dont usually like powder products as they usually make my eyes look dry and wrinkly. anew eyeshadow acts like a cream that stays on all day.

I agree with MrsBo completely!
I'm late 20's, so I can't vouch for the lifting aspect of this product. I bought this as I hadn't used eyeshadow primer before, and liked the combined case. The applicator thing wasn't an issue for me as I tend to use brushes for eyeshadow. Can't believe how silky smooth the primer and eyeshadow are. I've found that the creaseproof claim is pretty spot on too, and love the colour.
I've already recommended this to a couple of friends, and would definitely buy it again. Nice one Avon!

i just got this yesterday im always looking for an eye primer but like previous reviewer find them a tad expensive.this went on silky smooth i was really pleased with the result of that alone,i have the smokey violet one and thought the violet was going going to be too dark but it wasnt at all it glided on over the primer and when you use the lighter on ur brow it does give the appearance of a fresher younger eye.most shadows crease on me ones that are way more expensive than this too,i may have force myself to buy another colour now!Overall am pleased i bought this.

I use eyeshadow primers all the time after they were recommended to me by by Avon rep but usually the good ones cost so much I leave them for when I go out somewhere special. Now Avon do a really good primer with two eyeshadows for a really good price!
The primer is really silky smooth and easy to apply and does make my eyes look younger, brighter and less tired! In fact the primer has such a nice effect I wear it alone without eyeshadow when I want a natural look! The highlighter goes on really well and has a lovely sheen which does brighten your eyes and the coloured eyeshadow (walnut) is really nice and neutral - a little goes a long way unlike other weak eyeshadows where you apply and apply and there is barely any colour.
I think it is a shame that the eyeshadow applicator is separate and there isn't a compartment to keep it in like other eyeshadow sets - it is just another thing to get lost in the makeup bag. The packaging would be better if it came in a compact like an eyeshadow palette with a compartment for the applicator, primer and shadows, but I prefer to use a brush anyway!
I wasn't convinced about 'creaseproof' as it seems that on me all eyeshadows crease but this doesn't for me....after a few hours the colours were as bright as when I had applied them and my eyelids were smooth and radiant.
