I bought this shampoo as I have blonde lowlights and wanted to keep my hair protected, I also wanted to try something new as I like Avon products and wanted to see what the hair care products were like. It's a nice shampoo, my hair felt silky and soft after using it. It smells nice, although I prefered the smell of the last shampoo I was using more. The packaging looks professional and smart, but again I preferred my old shampoo as it looked tropical and vibrant and the shampoo itself seemed just that bit lighter than this one. Overall, a good product that I would use again.

good shampoo, but when they changed the packaging they also changed the product, and it is not as good, and the perfume is not as nice.

Review 5 for Advance Techniques Colour Protection Shampoo
I've been using this shampoo for a while and find it a lot better than a lot of the stuff in the shops, that cost more. My hair is really dry from colouring and from the brutal winter we've had! and this shampoo is quite conditioning, it doesn't leave my hair hard and tangled like most shampoos do, my hair is soft after shampooing which I think is great, then I use the colour protection mask afterwards which is also great. Avon's Dry Rescue shampoo was fantastic and my favourite shampoo which was perfect for my dry locks and I don't see it on sale anymore which is very disappointing, if I'd known I would have stocked up :(

Review 6 for Advance Techniques Colour Protection Shampoo
I first tried this shampoo on the recommendation of the hairdresser who coloured my hair. I'm normally quite fussy about shampoo - it has to be effective (obviously) but also foam well, smell good and not cause me an allergic reaction which is a problem I often have with commercial shampoos. This smells fantastic, a little goes a long way and I've been using it for a couple of months with no reaction at all. But the reason I love it so much is that it leaves my hair so silky and shiny, and my colour still looks good as new. It doesn't leave a horrible residue like some colour protection shampoos do either, which is great as my hair can be a bit oily, but it's not drying either - I only have to use the conditioner every other wash which also helps. I always buy the bigger bottle when it's available because I'm so impressed with it - well done Avon!

I've been a fan of the colour protection range for over 5 years. Not only has the bottle changed but so has the contents and has not left my hair as shiny and manageable as before. Has an odd odour too. Sorry but I wont be buying Avon again.

I have a problem finding shampoo that can tame my unruly locks especially after colouring. My hair is very thick, and naturally very curly and I dye it peroxide blonde (yes yes recipe for disaster). This shampoo in combination with the Colour protection conditioner enables me to actually be able to comb through my hair after washing! and keep the colour looking great. It smells good too!
