I have bought Avon eye shadows before and was very satisfied with the colour, quality, and price, so I had no qualms about ordering more. I read the reviews warning about the deceptive representation of the colour palette but wasn’t worried because I quite liked the sound of browns and golds, even if the picture on the website wasn’t quite right. When my parcel arrived I was upset to discover that, rather than bronze shades, the eye shadows were more of an orange! I wouldn’t have minded copper or cream, as these colours can suit a variety of skin tones and colourings, but there are not many people who could pull off orange eye shadow. I tried some on to make sure and found out, unsurprisingly, that I am not one of these people. Had to send it back. Disappointing.

I ordered the Tiger's Eye colours for the light pastel colours of the purple and yellow, but when it arrived they were a shiny golden/bronze brown colour.
I have kept this because they are nice for the summer but it would have been nice ro receive the colours shown in the picture.

I'm completely disappointed, I have ordered both as new colours - 'tiger's eye' and 'striped camouflage' and both are only some kind of from brown pallets, nothing like on picture at all.

I would not recommend this product at all and I'm going to send it back

I recently bought this quad after good experience with the other colours - however this one is browns and golds. Still good colours but not as the picture shows!

i agree with the last review on this, i also bought this product as the colours looked nice in the broucher, however they are nothing like that in real life,
the colours are darker and the top two colours are more golden and bronze, the two bottom colours are very dark.
upside was i tired them anyway & like them even though they are not what i thought i was buying

I was really excited about purchasing this product due to the nice colours but when it arrived the colours didn' t seem the same in real life to the swatches online or in the brochure. Anyway the packaging is lovely and the pigment is quite good and I particularly like the bottom left colour in the Tiger eye pallette. Overall I do like this product and would recommend for women who like neutral colours.
