Had bought this brush previously and it had arrived in a little plastic pouch and appeared to be much better quality than the same brush recently purchased which, I might add, did not arrive in a little plastic pouch. Also bristles do not appear to be as good as the previous brush. Not sure if I would purchase again. Maybe
In regard to the hardness of the brush, it is not a problem. The secret is to swirl the brush lightly in the mineral powder container in circles, then gently dust off excess powder then lightly in swirls apply to skin. If you press too hard the look won't look natural. If you use the brush of their rival it is softer but the bristles break off, whereas the kabuka bruch from avon has its own pouch to carry it in and it is perfect to be stored in a handbag.
cute and dinky but the bristles are too scratchy when you buff the brush over your skin. I haven't washed it yet as I have only had it a week so i don't know if it will shed hairs but i'm glad I bought it half price instead of full price.
in the broucher it looked like a small decent size to use on my face with the illuminating pearls.but when i recieved it, it was so big even larger then one side of my cheeks.package was great which keeps the brushes hair clean.

I haven't had much experience with applying mineral foundations, this was the first brush I bought and I love it! The size is perfect and I don't find it uncomfy to use at all.
Having said that, I have only had it a few days but so far so good.

I ordered this brush when it was half price so, for the price, the quality is probably fair and did work ok initially to apply mineral foundation. The bristles are very scratchy, as other reviewers have commented, but I also found that when I washed the brush it fanned out more, shed bristles and lost some of its density so made application more patchy. It's a real shame because the other Avon brushes are beautifully soft and I have recently purchased another kabuki from a different brand because I just can't work with this one anymore.
I was a little wary of purchasing this as the reviews were very mixed. However, I thought I would give it a go; and I'm glad I did.
It is the perfect for the avon mineral foundation, and unlike some other reviewers, I personally have found no problems with it shedding bristles. I have sensitive skin and this did not feel at all harsh on my face.
I'm sure there are other brands of brush out there just as good/better, but for the price paid I can't complain!
I bought this to use with the mineral foundation, as I have other brushes from Avon which are brilliant quality and so soft to use.
The brush is nice and small and in a handy little plastic holder so it's perfect for your handbag. The brush is actually quite big which I was surprised at because it looks tiny in the packaging.
The only thing which has massively let me down with this brush is the bristles are so scratchy!!!!!!! My face doesn't feel too good after using it :( This would be an amazing 5* product if the bristles were the same quality as the other brushes (eg. the all-over face brush and angled blusher brush) by Avon.
Please sort the bristles out because I love it otherwise!!!!
I use this for mineral powder make-up and it blends the powder really well. Using it is economical as you only use what you need and the rest stays in the lid or the pot.

Don't bother

Have had this for 3 months now and it's still shedding bristles every time I uses it - and not just the odd one either but lots - it will be a bald brush soon. It's also really really rough on my skin. Don't waste your money - buy something more expensive and more reliable. I've had to go and buy another brush to use instead.
I bought this brush 2 years back, i loved the cute size of it, but then the bristles kept falling out everywhere. iv tried washing it, drying it, but nothing will stop them coming out, sinse then i have gave up and dont use powder at all now.
This brush is a perfect size for the Minerals Foundation pot - which is one of the reasons I purchased it - and it has the potential to be a great product.
The brush gathers a fair amount of powder (without wasting any) to spread evenly across your face. However, the bristles are too soft as they keep falling out!
Not a great thing to happen when you use the brush, only to find the odd bristle on your face, clothes, floor etc.
Great brush for the price, don't know what I'd do without it! The bristles are a bit tough but I've had worse. Much better than other brushes I've tried and I love the little package it comes in! Since using this brush I'm using less powder yet better coverage would recommend to anyone!
I bought this little brush as part of the introductory offer with the mineral foundation. It's great! Not sure that the powder would be so easy to apply without it - a product clearly designed for its job. Not sure why other reviewers seem to have had so many issues with the bristles; maybe they've just been unlucky, or maybe I've been lucky? Yes, the occasional bristle may fall, but that's all.... It's a great little brush, does its job well, & is soft on the skin. Good value too - I've seen many at twice the price.

As a face brush, I expect bristles to not fall every time I use the brush with the mineral foundation. To me the bristles aren't soft either and feels harsh on my skin, I'm sure there are better for cheaper.
The brush would be perfect if the bristles didn't fall out every two seconds. I cannot emphasise enough how irritating it is to have hairs fall out of the brush and all over your face. Takes so much effort to get all of the hairs off of your face aswell! I'd recommend avon for alot of products but for this product: it's definately a no no.
Basically what the title says... those darn bristles! It distracts from any positives the brush may have. Would not recommmend, the bristles falling out every second is too much.
I purchased this when it was half-price, so it was excellent value. It is an ideal size for putting in the mineral powder pot and for carrying around. The only downside is that the bristles come out occasionally and they do feel scratchy sometime.
The size is perfect for the mineral foundation pot. The brush is nice and soft and foundation looks good. Only downfall is that the bristles keep coming out!!
