Smudger part got loose and fallen off after week from using it. So not so very happy with that product.

Hmmm... Not what I was expecting

The brush bristles are a little too firm and not very flexible. I would say you might find it suitable when applying shadow to the lash line, but you do end up having to use quite a lot of product. The smudger is also quite hard and drags the skin slightly. Overall, I found this product does the job but not very well, don't waste your money!

Slightly disappointing

This eyeshadow brush does the job - but the bristles, although soft, are very dense and not particularly flexible, so you can't "sweep" it across your eyelids easily. It's more like a stippling brush.
The smudger is not good. I thought it would be a sponge like the small applicators you get in eyeshadow compacts. However, it's actually made of quite hard almost rubbery material, which is a bit harsh and drags on the eyelids.
I really wanted to love this product, but it is a bit of a let down. I'm sticking with it for now, in the hope it'll soften up with use and because I can't afford anything better! If it seems better after more use I'll update my review.

I've tried better

I bought this due to it's low cost, but sadly I fell foul of the 'you buy cheap, you buy twice' theory.
Firstly, the bristles were hard, meaning it could not pick up a lot of product, and what it did lift, didn't go very far. As a result, I ended up using a lot more product than usual, for the exact same look.
Secondly, the smudger was pretty useless as well, as you could feel the hard plastic piece underneath the material. It didn't help to smudge the eyeshadow and just made my eyes uncomfortable and aggravated.
I ended up buying a more expensive brush from elsewhere.

the bristles are very dense and it makes the brush very hard. The smudger is also very big and hard which isnt kind to the delicate eye area. I will be returning this product.

The bristles are soft and allows for easy application of eye-shadow.
But omg the smudger is bad. All other smudgers I have ever owned have been a mini sponge. This one is made like a hard plastic with as layer of sponge material around it, hurts like mad when trying to smudge your eye-liner. So I am back to using Q tips.

I've tried other brushes and smudgers and this Avon product is far better than the ones i've tried. As a beginner, the applicator creates a smooth effect on the eyelid when the eyeshadow is applied. The smudger is also an added bonus which helps in creating a dark eye look.

For the price you pay this is a handy little brush to have. Great for anyone just starting out with makeup or someone who can't afford high end brushes. Fits into a makeup back and having a smudger at the bottom of the brush makes it a good 2 in 1 so its great to apply makeup on the go as you don't have to take loads of brushes with you. I get a great looking smokey eye out of this. The brush could be a little fluffier though as it doesn't always pick up lots of eyeshadow. I find myself going back for more product a lot.

Good!

A good brush for applying. The brush is easy to clean and I havent had any loose or out of place hairs so far, and the smugder is an added bonus.
The only bad thing is that I prefer brushes with abit more give (less hairs). The brush could be so much better if it was more loose as it would then hold more eyeshadow.
But overall its a good brush at a very good price
