No Good for anything

This product is useless. Initially it goes on well and appears as a clear nail varnich and dries fairly quickly, however it peels off worse than any nail varnish I have ever tried and actually makes peeling and brittle nails worse rather than 'solving' the issue.

This is really good for my nails as I wash my hands a lot during the day. It keeps my nails from drying out and chipping, A++

Disappointing waste of time, money and effort

My nails started to peel and I was told this product would solve my problem. Having waited 5 weeks (to place and receive order) I was anticipating great things. This product is no more than a clear nail varnish, I had to cut the box open to find out how often to apply and when my nails would improve, only to find a lot of very small print in lots of languages telling me it helps nails grow long and strong in 14 days and not to put it in my eyes! I have been using it for 3 weeks now, and my nails are worse than ever. I have applied it every day - you have to because it peels off after a few hours, presumably taking a layer of precious nail with it. All bar one of my nails have now peeled and I am now looking at an alternative product - not Avon!

just bought this product, keen to solve issues with my nails snapping just below the quick at the slightest touch. Despite destroying the box to read what I assumed were usage instructions I was dismayed to find it just informed me that I should avoid my eyes. Ho hum. Logged on to Avon website convinced there would be instructions but all I found were reviews telling me how bad the product is!! Perhaps we are all using it wrongly as THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE!!!!! Please tell us how to use this product Avon!!!!

Awful

Very disappointed with this product. Difficult to apply as it dries so quickly and bubbles seemed to appear in the finish no matter how it was applied (I'm certain I had no products on my nails to cause this). The polish then peeled off within a few hours on some nails to a couple of days on the last. It also seemed to have taken a thin layer off my nails in parts so I'm far worse off. This drying effect also seems to have peeled the skin off my fingers along the edges which is quite painful.

Rubbish

I am trying to grow my nails, and as part of my care regime I purchased this product (as my nails break regularly).
However, every time I put the varnish on my nails (clean, no moisture or other product underneath) it peels off as soon as my hands are submerged in water. If I put the varnish on in the morning, by the time I've finished my bath in the evening it has peeled off (or is half hanging off).
I thought this product was a peeling and brittleness solver, it doesn't stay on long enough for me to judge the brittleness part, but it certainly peels although I am sure that is what its supposed to do.
If I had to give this product a positive, when applied it has a lovely clear shine to it.

This product has it's positive issues and negative issues. One positive issue is that this polish has a light feeling to it, and does not weigh heavily on your nails like some polishes. In fact, you barely know that it is there, other than the smoothness of the tips of your fingernails.
The second issue can be a positive/ negative issue. Depending on your expertise in applying nail polish perfectly every time. This polish dries verrry fast. In fact, it dries as you are applying it. So you have to apply it fairly quickly.
The third issue is a negative, and I will tell you why. I was preparing supper this evening, and I noticed that the polish was pealing right off my nails around the edges. I pulled at the edge and I found that the coating on the nail peeled right off in one go. I did the same with my other nails. It was really quite humorous. lol
I am not sure why this happened. The only thing I can think of is ...maybe some of the greasiness from the Avon body lotion was still on my nails, and prevented the nail polish from adhering properly. Certainly a polish should not peel off that way?
I have given the product 3 stars because while there are some negative issue, it does seem to have strengthened my nails. I will continue to use it, and will let you know how I get on with it. Thanks for listening.

I had nails that peeled all the time. I use this all the time and am on my 3rd bottle. My nails are good and strong and do not peel. However if I stop using it they peel again but not as bad. Have recommended it to my mum and sister in law and they have improved their nails too

I'm sorry to say after using this religiously for weeks now if anything I'd say my nails are in worse conditon than they were before. The flaking is really bad now and my nails have started to break at the sides where it's really painful if you catch them on anything.
