i love this foundation. the first time i tried it on, i had a lot of dry skin around some spots that had just healed. it did go quite flaky and as a result i removed it. a few days later i tried it again when the skin had healed, and it went on lovely. i had numerous compliments saying that my skin had never looked so clear and even in tone. the colour i got was ivory which went great on my pale skin with freckles.
it can be difficult to spread with fingers but i don't really like using brushes.

I bought this from the catalogue, however, as this foundation is really worth the money, I decided to write a review!
When I first saw the colour shades I was a bit skeptical as ivory in some shades is nowhere near light enough, however, this is a really nice light shade, with the tinest, and I mean tiniest hint of cool pink undertone, makes a really nice neutralising but full coverage :)
Also it blends really nicely and doesn't streak, the SPF is an added bonus to it, you don't need a lot of it either, so you get what you pay for.
It is long-lasting and seemed to last well when going out etc, however, as with all foundations with SPF in, if you are going to a party with flash pictures, it'll make your face look really pale and washed out, due to light reflectants etc etc...
So if you want something long lasting for parties, clubbing nights out, possibly not one for you, maybe go for a matte finish instead. Even though it is a fabulous foundation for day to day wear, and if you do want to buy just as an overall party/everyday foundation and use it for everything, to be honest you might as well as it will not disappoint!!

Really great foundation! i have uneven skin tone, slightly dark circles and spot prone (i know, lovely mix) this foundation gives such great coverage all the above litterally dissapeared! the only downsides, its quite perfumed my sensitive skin can just about handle daily use, and its quite thick, takes a couple of goes to get used to it. but these small issues are insignificant as the end result is soooo good. also works well with the ideal shade concealer.

In the past I have tried many different foundations and often felt like none of them worked how I wanted them to. I tried this foundation and I can say that it has become my favourite foundation. The foundation is quite thick therefore I wouldn't use everyday but on the other hand the application glides on and only a little amount it needed. I also struggled to find a foundation to match my pale skin tone and the ivory really suited it too. Overall a great product!

Honestly the best foundation I have had and I have had alot! (this is coming from a makeup addict )
It is fabulously better than alot of foundations on the market/highstreet.
The texture is sooo smooth and glides on with ease. Provides a full, thick coverage that lasts all day, and does not budge at all (no touching up needed).
Gives a Gorgeous Flawless Finish and so affordable!

Need to be careful with this item as if you wear a slight amount too much, then the caked look can come into play. The coverage is excellent- I like to mix foundation in a small pot with my moisturiser as this makes it look as though I am wearing a small amount, but I don't think this is possible with this particular foundation. Also, it can make your face look a little too matt and dull.

This is the only foundation I will use these days. It covers absolutely brilliantly. It is nice and thick which makes the coverage great. I have tried much more expensive brands that didnt match up to this product. It lasts all day and is good even on my combination skin! I always stock up on this product!

Amazing product, does exactly what it says, applies easily, feels amazing, hides everything I want it to whilst giving a healthy overall look but the best is it really does last all day!!!

Love this foundation, great coverage but doesn't look heavy. Also lasts all day and looks great. Have tried many other, much more expensive brands and this is by far the best. Definitely worth a try!!

I found this foundation worked wonders one my face. I found that it gave great coverage, was an amazing colour and lasted all day. Now i have very bad skin, i have flaws everywhere and i am always looking for a foundation that can cover imperfections without making my skin look cakey or orange - this foundation covered all my required desires.
I also find that because of the great coverage, i don't need to use as much foundation which means it lasts longer so i don't have to buy a new foundation all the time - so it saves money as well.
It also is suitable for all skin types (oily, dry and sensitive) doesn't cause breakouts and is also an easy application.
I would reccomend this foundation to anyone. Mainly people like me, who have flaws and want a great coverage without looking cakey or have an orange line all around their face. The colour varies so i think everyone will be able to find the right shade.

I have tried so many foundations and had never given Avons a go. I decided to order this one because it was on other and WOW it's great.
It gives me great coverage and lasts all day so no need for me to touch up. It's also nice that my face doesnt feel caked in make up and I have had some nice compliments since wearing it.
One thing I would say is I'd like it to come in a bigger size!

... it was part of a bargain bag. Fortunately the shade (shell) was a good match and so I gave it a try. I am now a convert! Previously, I used a premium brand sponge-on cream foundation but this goes on more easily and is less costly into the bargain. I'm delighted.

I love the coverage this foundation gives, I don't need to use concealer underneath. It's thick and lasts most of the day, and I've been through a few before that have been nowhere close to this.
One complaint though: I bought Ivory as the Personal Match Ivory was the best shade for me I'd found even on the high street. However, it's a touch deeper than Nude when liquid, and when it dries it very noticeably turns orange - imagine my surprise when on application it looked fine, then a couple of mins later I looked fake-tanned (for my pale skin, at least)

Really good foundation, actually lasts all day from nine to five and then afterwards! Exactly my skin tone so evens out my face and perfectly covers spots and redness to make my skin completely clear, won't buy any other foundation! I'm ivory :)

Great product, would totally recommend stays on all day hides your spotts. One thing that takes the star off it is hard to match it to your skin tone.

I suffer from dry, spotty skin and thought i would give this foundation a try and im glad i did. It provides a lovely finish and hides any redness. I shall continue to buy this foundation :)
