I am a British pakistani
i have bought this product and I have been using it for a month but it has no effect on my skin,

However a english friend of mine has bought the same product and the results are different, u can really see the improvement, he spots look smother and her foundation dosent have a oily shine to it.
It gives a nice matt finish.
However i would not advise Medium skin coloured asain.

I've tried much more expensive primers than this one and this one is as good, if not better. Its gel texture is really easy to apply and leaves your face matte. Its ideal under make up but also OK on its own. A good product for your make up bag and essential to use in conjunction with the mineral make up.

Feels great, looks great, great value, has an SPF, magic! Far better than other primers I've tried including high end brands, this one does help minimise my enlarged pores and helps my make up last longer and I need less foundation when I use it. Will be back for more.

Im in high school and 14 and use this product on its own everyday i get complemented a lot on my skin and my skin is normally spotty but everscince i started using this my spots are a lot less noticable also my mum and 3 aunties also love it (they are 33- 40) we have all said we wouldnt use anything else on our skin this proves that it is loved by all ages. I would recomend this to anyone who wants flawless, soft and non shiny skin :) xx

Horrible feeling on your skin. Does not work with mineral foundation making it go into little clumps on your face. Did not take any fine lines away and made my face feel clogged and dirty. I'm sending it back. Don't waste your money!!

This is definitely the best primer I've tried, and being someone who really wants to eliminate the shine on my t-zone, I've tried a fair few, but always come back to this one.
The best thing about it is how it can get rid of the shine without blocking pores, a problem I've had with other brands, and also it doesn't feel greasy or leave a film when it's on, it melts in and feels like a second (shine free!) skin.
The SPF is a real added bonus and something I really look for in products, knowing how important it is to protect the skin from the harmful sun.
Overall it's the best primer I've tried and think it's a must-have for anyone wanting to eliminate shine!

Bought three of these two years ago and never stopped using it since then. I have typical combination skin and no matter what oil control product I use, the t-zone gets shiny after couple of hours. But this gel powder stopped the shine completely, and sometimes for as long as all day (when the weather is not too hot). It goes on easily on top of or under my makeup and keeps my skin fresh and shine-free for hours!! It makes applying makeup really easy too! Highly recommended!!

I started using face primers or 'fixers' under my foundation after having my make-up done professionally for my wedding last year..the one she used was her own brand & very good...but also VERY expensive, so after shopping around I started using a well known High St. brand that was launched last year too & was quite happy with it, apart from the fact that, again, for the price, you don't get much your money (you probably all know the one i'm referring to!) Since becoming an 'Avon convert', however, (about 6 months ago), I stumbled across this product when it was advertised as a 'Promotion' at half price....thought i'd give it a whirl & was so totally impressed with it I immediately placed another order for 4 more whilst it was still on 'special'! It glides on your skin easily & makes it feel like satin, minimising pores & giving you a smooth base for your make up that holds it in place all day without any shine or greasiness-well that's been my experience of it anyway & a little goes a long way too!
Also, (as others have said), you can use it on it's own without make-up & it just leaves you looking like you've had a facial & with a smooth silky even looking complexion!! Avon, you've done it again!!

The first time I used this I was amazed by the texture of this product when rubbed into your skin, it makes your skin smooth and silky and is a great base for foundation, I love this product!
I gave 4 stars as it made my skin a bit greasy later on in the day.

This is a great product. Although it is one of Avon's more expensive products, it is worth the price, compared to other foundations and face creams.
It is so weird how it is like "magic" it made my face look smooth, even and flawless. Its a nice and lighter alternative to foundation.

This definitely gave me a good base in which to put my foundation on,
I found that when using it my make-up lasted and stayed in place longer as usually by the end of the day I have a shiny forehead and none of my foundation left. I therefore only really use it here, no need for rest of the face

I bought this product with some reservation as to wether or not it would be any good but it's brilliant. i use it every day, it makes my skin look healthy and feel smooth and im someone that will not go out without foundation at least but with this product i just use a small amount of avon bronzing pearls and a little mascara and i look more natural than i have for years and i have oily skin but this takes the shine away. people have commented on my skin and i would definately recommend it.

My husband always tells me I don't need make-up as in foundation or powder and didn't take his advise. Coz I have redness around my nose and chin which needed covering. Now that I use the MagiX Face Perfector I only use blush and make-up for my eye. I don't need any foundation or mineral make-up anymore. The face perfetor does exactly what it says and I'm really glad i gave it a try. It make your skin feel soft and has a lovely smell. I will definitly order it again.

I wish I had found this years ago, it was recommended to me by my sister and its brilliant, it smoothes over the skin covering open pores and takes away the shine....cant get enough of it....and it feels great on as well.

I waited and waited for this to come down in price and when it did, i placed an order.I couldnt wait to try it! I dont use foundation in ther summer and hoped it would work without.... and it did!... it did give my skin a more smoother and healthier appearance. But the downside i found with this product was, that its very thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube, you have to apply a fair amount to get an even distribution as it absorbs very quickly. i dont think it would last very long given its size if used daily. But i would recommend it to a friend.

Loved this product, i only bought it because I had a voucher but I would definately buy it again. I now use it instead of foundation as it gives me a good base for my mineral powder, and evens out my complexion. I dont find it heavy, and it feels much nicer than all the foundations I've tried.

I could barely see a difference when I applied it... and I could only see a LITTLE difference when I applied it in excess. However, it undoubtedly made my skin soft but made my face feel 'heavy' in make-up (and that's before applying lots to see a difference!)

This is a fantastic product! Such a unique invention by Avon for a base matte finish under your foundation - it cuts shine on nose, forehead and chin areas. Glides on smooth and creates an even porefect (sorry) base.
Its wonderful! I cant recommend it enough, I cant do without it - have ordered loads in the past and I believe you ladies are getting a real bargain here for the good it does to our complexions! It's worth 10 times what it costs in sheer luxury facial rescue!
