I had purchased the 'hot chocolate' and 'powder room pink' some time back and was not at all pleased. I don't know if I had received a bad batch, but I found it impossible to pick up using any type of eyeshadow applicator, it was almost like it was caked. It wasn't too much of a loas as I had bought them at a low price

Review 3 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I love the colours in the initial picture of this product (Storm), it's very intense and even slightly sparkly, but it appears to have been discontinued. Bring this lovely colour combination back - I am bereft

Review 4 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I got the hot chocolate colour to be used as a neutral everyday shade. It gives quite a shimmery sheen, which I think is perhaps a bit much for everyday, although does look lovely. Would make a nice base for night out perhaps?
I personally found the lighter beige shade gave a really nice effect, but the darker brown just isn't dark enough. It isn't much darker than the beige on the skin despite looking very dark in the pot, which is a shame as I can't contour the eye how I wanted to. The powder becomes quite loose on my brush, so I have to be careful to tap off the excess or it ends up all over my face, and I still generally have to brush with an all over face brush after application to get rid of any powdery areas.
The pot itself is absolutely tiny, and it gets totally lost in my make-up bag and makes it fiddly to use too. I was disappointed with the size.
I wouldn't buy it again, but it was a good price and worth trying. Perhaps better suited to children as play make-up or teens.

I bought the green-blue shades in this, and thought they were fab- you can really work in some smoky, shady lloks and the colours complement each other well. The colour is not too intense, but layering does creates a more dramatic look.

Review 6 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I tried the Snow Storm in this, after quite a bit of success with other Color Trend products. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed.
The eyeshadow didn't seem to be very pigmented at all, so for it to really show up, 4 or 5 'coats' of this had to be applied to my eyelid. I'm quite pale so I don't usually use harsh colours, but this really didn't seem to show up at all.
Also, the quality wasn't fantastic because it just didn't last very long at all, I'd say a few hours before it faded again.
If you were looking for eyeshadow, I'd look at some of the more slightly expensive Avon ones for better quality. I wouldn't recommend this product unfortunately.

Really very dissapointed in this product!!!! As what has been said already, it's very weak and you really don't notice the colour at all. Def won't be buying it again!

Review 8 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I bought the hot chocolate and snow storm for my sister-in-law and she was not impressed. Pigmentation was weak. Even when you wet the shadow the colour did not get much more intense. She wanted to create a dramatic evening look with the snow storm and instead of a storm she got a puddle!!

I have this is a seemingly now discontinued shade and I really love it. It is a small compact but the colour is so strong you hardly need to use any. It stays all day, doesn't crease and the pigment is so vibrant - and two shades that compliment eachother - great value. Love this.

I have them all and they are all so highly pigmented and compact so they can easily fit into any make up bag for a holiday, voila all the colours you could possibly need in such a small space. More room for more lipsticks (Y)
Definately recommend if you are umming and ahhing buy it, you won't regret it. I have two backups of most of them as I am terrified they will be discontinued. I could not live without these!

Review 11 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I recently bought the eye contact duo in powder room pink, and I love it!
Girls I must confess I was a tough nut to crack considering that ever since I could see sense I have avoided pink eye shadows like the plague as they normally just come out looking as if I have a serious eye infection.
But all I can say is I decided to go mad and bought this eye shadow. I made the right choice as the two colours are just so so pretty! The lighter pink is shimmery and the matte darker pink in my creases produces a beautiful gradient effect, with no sore-eye-look to boot!

Review 12 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I have 3 of these the Earth, the rainforest and the blues. The blues is a bit dissapointing but the other 2 are excellent for the price. The texture is such that if you use a high quality eye brush ( I used a really nice soft make up artist label one) it wont go on well it just washes on pale. But if this is put on with a sponge tip applicator for the paler base colour and a firm coarser haired eye brush it seems to work really well. I put the Earth on this morning that way and it blended well and lasted and did not crease. The colour was true and looked good. I think if you had oily skin it would not last long though unless you put a base of one of Avon's colour eye pencils on first . But for normal skin or dry it works just fine.

Review 13 for color trend eye contact eyeshadow duo
I bought severall items from Avon which where amazing but sadly this one was the only one I was incredibly disapointed about.
I ordered this in the snow storm and hot chocolate colours. My first disapointment once seeing them was the size. They are incredibly small, approximatly the size of a £2 coin. I got the impression that they were much larger. Also the two I recieved where poorly presented. The little metal palette that sits in the plastic was wonky and it just looked really cheap.
I decided to give it a go anyway just in case and this is were my final dissapointment arose. I applied some of the product to my hand and you could barley see it.
I do not believe these are worth the price that they are at all and I sent them back immediatly. In my opinion, these would only be useful to a child who is starting to get interested in make up.
