This product is great, it doesn't smudge or flake. the formular is not to thin or to thick, it is my favourite mascara, and i have quite a few mascaras, i will buy this again!

this is the best mascara i've had yet. it does exactly what i want, which is just to enhance and plump my lashes a bit, whilst still looking natural. the price is fab too.
havn't noticed any flaking or smudging, and i tend to rub my eyes alot in the summer.

i like this product as it is simple. it makes my eyes look wide without much effort and enhances each lash. i wouldnt say it creates volume but its a nice mascara on a budget.

Although quite a bit of the mascara was left on the brush when pulled out, once wiped on the rim what was left went on lovely. The colour was more brown than black, it was meant to be black/brown, but that was fine by me!
On the whole a nice everyday mascara who's price point is reasonable.

I don't know whether its the brush or the formula, but it made my eyelashes clumpy & made them stick together from the very first application.
The brush wasn't very good for trying to separate them after they clumped.
Unfortunately I wont be buying this again!

I have tried so many mascaras at various price points and this is definitely up there with the best of them.
The colour is a good strong solid black, and it lasts well with an absolute minimum of flaking or wear-off.

The best thing about this mascara for me is the brush which is on the large side and deposits colour on all the lashes from inside to outside corners in a single stroke.
The colour is dense, long lasting and the mascara definitely adds volume to my fairly short and stumpy lashes. A single coat is sufficient for a more natural look, but I like to apply 2 coats allowing the lashes to dry after the first one which gives me more definition.
I have never used a mascara which didn't splodge a little on my eyelids during application, and unfortunately sometimes I do make a bit of a mess with this one - but nothing a cotton bud won't sort out, and I suspect this issue is down to my application technique and not the mascara!
I have bought this mascara many times now, which is rare for me but I can't find anything that competes. And besides, as this is often on offer when I can 2 for under £5 it would be foolish not to stock up!

I've had a LOT of mascaras, and just this £4 one is WAY better than all the others! It combines the best volume, blackest black in colour, long lasting and natural but vivid looking eyes.

This is a good basic mascara for a fantastic price. I was pleasantly surprised with the results, but don't think they're anything to rave about.
I don't find it thickens the look of my lashes personally, as I think the formula is too thin/wet to give much volume. Effective volumising mascaras really need to have a gel or cream formula. As it's so wet it takes a long time to dry, and I have to be careful not to look up for a while or my lashes touch my brow bone and leave little black dots! Once dry it seemed to wear well without smudging or flaking though.
For the price I'm not disappointed, but I don't think I'd buy it again. I'll be trying a different one with my next order.

I have used this mascara every day for a very long time - it goes on well, gives good volume to lashes without looking too heavy & the tube lasts well. It doesn't smudge or run, even when I have had a few tears - but it is easy to remove with baby lotion or just soap & water. Also the price is so good, especially if you stock up when it's on offer.

Been using this mascara for a while now, thought I let others know how nice it is.Great price, stays on all day, doesn't smudge, gives nice volume without overweighting for natural looking eyes.Easy to wash away and doesn't take your lashes with it.I only use water (wet your fingers and touch your lashes till mascara softens, wipe the excess away with whatever you use to cleanse your face) good for sensitive eyes.
Avon is best value for money. Some of the expensive one not as good as this one. Hope the price won't go up...

Canny good price to be fair but in all respects i wouldn't buy it again.
I thought it went on clumpy and didn't stay on, throughout the day it started going all flaky and leaving black marks and flakes on my face. Plus when i took it off on a night time, it took half of my lashes with it.

Mascara is getting more and more expensive.. but not this beauty! Love everything about it ESPECIALLY ITS PRICE.
It thickens, seperates, no clumping and lengthens my lashes.. what more could I ask for! :)

This unassuming little fellow is the best mascara ive ever used. It lenghtens separates and doesnt clump or smudge. It just does all a mascara should.Please try it,it works.
